Board Member Roles
President
The President provides leadership and overall direction to Exothermic Robotics, overseeing and coordinating the efforts of the organization.
Parts Manager
The Parts Manager records inventory, manages parts orders, organizes clean-up events, and tracks team needs.
Engineering Notebook Advisor
The Engineering Notebook Advisor assists younger teams with the documentation of their work, teaching them how to develop strong communication with judges through the engineering notebook, and giving advice when necessary.
Build Advisor
Build Advisors assist younger teams with learning the process of building, designing, and problem-solving, give advice when necessary, and check in with teams in general.
Programming Advisor
Programming Advisors assist younger teams with concepts related to programming, troubleshooting, etc., giving advice when necessary and check in with teams in general.
Vice President
The Vice President helps the president with tasks and making important decisions, stepping into other roles when necessary.
Public Relations Officer
The Public Relations Officer is tasked with keeping Exothermic’s social media platforms alive - website, Instagram, outreach, etc.
Safety Advisor
The Safety Advisor is responsible for tracking safety validation among members as well as tracking the welfare of tools and keeping up supply for those tools.
