Girl Powered Event at Google

Between March 25-26, 2023, EXO members and Ignite volunteers worked together over the course of 2 days, to give young girls an opportunity to try their hand at robotics. During this time, we provided expertise in coding and building, creating a positive and fun environment for the girls to grow in.

Exothermic Winter Challenge

Every year, Exothermic Robotics hosts the Exothermic Winter Challenge; a huge tournament that requires hours of labor, time, and commitment to ensure it’s success. In order to prepare for the tournament, EXO members, Ignite Volunteers, and other local teams come together to transport materials from various locations and set up fields.

Timberline Middle School

Four Exo members from 10C, 10D, and 10X volunteered at a local Vex IQ tournament on Feb. 9. They took on various roles such as being a referee or judge. After the event, Exo received an invitation from Timberline Middle School to present our robots at their end of the year celebration to showcase our robots and teach incoming Freshmen about Vex EDR.

International Community School

One of our former members, Ann Li from 10C volunteered every Friday for the robotics club at a local school. Her goal was to help middle school students enjoy STEM and robotics by helping them with Vex IQ and encourage them to participate in community events and competitions.
